Hello Boaters,
The Large Center Controls are now enabled from the startup menu and not by clicking in the water. This enables the user in the Man Overboard scenario to click on the new location of the MOB.
Enjoy!

I can’t seem to make the boat move sideways. I split the shifters and turn against the pivot direction and nothing happens, it just continues to turn in the direction that is shifter going forward.
Thanks Joseph for the comments. Please re-test and let us know if we fixed the issue.
I am having trouble. When I click on run, the boat disappears. I am running this on chrome, and this just started today.
OK – we will check. Have you refreshed the browser in the menu and the simulator?
Is there anybody making a mock up of an actual throttle/shift that could be used with this program, similar to the yoke that can be purchased for landing a plane?
Joseph,
What would be the price range for such a device? It would need to include throttles, shifters, wheel, and thrusters.

I have no idea what it would cost. The unit I bought for flight training was around a hundred, if I remember correctly.
Thanks. Would a separate smartphone with an app serve as a good controller for the simulator running on a different computer?
I like the simulator, it gets confusing when the orientation of the vessel is different from the captain. It would be nice if the vessel and the controls stayed oriented on the screen and the marina rotated around as it does in the real world. Another helpful item would be to show bow and stern thruster output from the vessel.
Thanks Captain. We will start working on that.
