Thanks to a suggestion from Ian, there is a new feature to position or reposition the boat when the simulator is STOPPED! Click on the boat to drag it anywhere on the screen (if you drag it out of bounds, nothing will work properly) and click on the wheel to change the heading of the boat. Refresh your browser and let us know how that works for you.

Thanks John, works well and addresses the other request I had to set a docked starting position to practice leaving docks.
